If our clients are already recognized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Evandell is able to help with their private sponsorship applications and landing to Canada.
If our clients have not been identified by UNHCR and are seeking to enter Canada as a refugee, either by making an application at the Port of Entry or at an inland office, the immigration team at Evandell will assist them with their application and represent them at the hearing. Evandell will also provide help with their subsequent appeal, judicial review as well as application to permanent residency on humanitarian and compassionate grounds (if applicable). Call or message Evandell to find more.
Evandell has a legal research-intensive practice and refugee law is one of main areas where Evandell's expertise lies.
Convention Refugee Claimants and Protected Persons need to base their claim on certain grounds to order for the claim to be valid. Refugee hearings involve extensive legal research and Evandell will find for its clients best possible approaches to their claims and the upcoming hearing, appeal, and Pre-Removal Risk assessment.
